Welcome, where you are a first-time camper or been here before, Sundance campground has a campsite for you. We offer more than a place to stay, we present a delightful experience.
Things to Know about Camping
Site Specific Reservations: Campsite reservations are for a "type of site, not for a specific campsite number. You may select the available site of your choice, and make reservations.
Minimum Stay: A two-night minimum is required for weekend reservations, and a three-night minimum is required for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Independence Day weekends, and special events.
Deposits and Cancellations: A credit card is required to make a Reservation. Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations made after 30 days prior to arrival date, will be given a *Rain Check* for full value. No refunds are given when the stay is shortened to less than the required minimum.
To cancel or change a reservation, call the Sundance Park Reservation Center at 1-575-336-4444. Cancellations and changes cannot be made online.

Occupancy: To protect park resources, campsite occupancy is limited to one of the following combinations:
- One motor home, two additional automobiles.
- One automobile with pop-up trailer/travel trailer, one additional automobile.
- One pickup truck with mounted camping rig, two additional automobiles, and one tent.
- Two tents and two automobiles.
Rain-Checks:
Rain-checks will be honored for full value. Up to one full year from date of cancelation. Except on major Holidays.
Check-In: Check-in is between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. and check-out is before 11 am . Campers must register and present a reservation confirmation before setting up. Both the reservation and deposit fee are forfeited if the camper does not check in by 10 p.m. on the scheduled arrival date. Most park gates are locked at 10 p.m. Tents and other personal property left overnight in an unoccupied campsite are subject to removal and fees will be forfeited. "Saving sites for late-arriving guests is allowed only for reservations made in advance, but cannot be monitored by park staff.
Rules: Small Pets are welcome in campgrounds if kept on a six-foot leash and attended to at all times, NO!!! big dogs allowed. Campers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Check Out is at 11 A.M.
Quite Time 10:00 P.M.
Camp fires are not to be unattended, and must be extinquished by 12:00 P.M.
